Alyssa Queen

Alyssa is a violinist and music educator from Walton, Kentucky, whose passion for music and teaching has been a defining part of her life since she first picked up the violin at age 14.

She began her musical studies through the Immanuel School of Music, progressing through its various levels of orchestral training and private lessons before graduating in 2020. Since then, she has continued to grow as both a performer and educator, sharing her love of music with students of all ages.

As a performer, Alyssa plays with the Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra as Assistant Concertmaster. She also enjoys performing alongside her siblings, who are musicians themselves, for concerts, weddings, gatherings, and other special events throughout the tri-state area.

At the heart of Alyssa’s work is a deep belief in the transformative power of music. She is passionate about creating meaningful musical experiences for young students, encouraging them to discover their own abilities, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts. She is honored to share her love of music and the gifts she has been given with the next generation of musicians through the Immanuel School of Music.

Fun Fact: Alyssa met her husband while they were both in high school and playing in Youth Sinfonia through the Immanuel School of Music. He is also a violinist, making music a special part of their story together.
