PRIVATE LESSONS

Registration Fee: 

There is an annual non-refundable $45 registration fee per student for private lessons. For families with 4+ students the registration fee is a flat rate of $155 for the family.

Private Lesson Tuition:

30-minute lesson: $1,088/academic year ($34 per lesson)

45-minute lesson: $1,536/academic year ($48 per lesson)

60-minute lesson: $1,920/academic year ($60 per lesson)

Academic Year Session:

32 lessons September - May

FALL Semester: September - December 

(Fall Registration Opens July 1)

SPRING Semester: January - May 

(Spring Registration Opens November 1)

OVERVIEW:

• 32 lessons total received for the whole academic year.
• Lesson Length Options: We offer flexible 30, 45, 60 minutes weekly lessons.
• 4-lesson Trial pack (Discover Music Package) are offered to new students to help them determine if the program is the right fit.
• 4 Make-up weeks are built into the academic year calendar.

• Breaks for holidays are built into the academic year calendar. OUr schedule accomodates major holidays and includes four built-in make up weeks.

• The monthly fee is created by multiplying the price per lesson by 32, and is then divided evenly over 9 months.

• Register once for the whole academic year. There is an annual non-refundable $40 registration fee per student for private lessons. For families with 4+ students the registration fee is a flat rate of $150 for the family.

• You will receive an email invoice after submitting registration if you are paying monthly.

• Any changes that need to be made concerning payment, length of lesson, or cancellation is required to be communicated with a 30-day notice.

ISM Recitals:

• Free and open to the public

Studio recitals are scheduled through each teacher.

• November 15, 16, & 17 - 2024
• May 9. 10, 16, & 17 - 2025

An honors recital given by the nominated students from each ISM studio. May 18, 2025

I am new to ISM. How do I schedule lessons?

Families complete a lesson inquiry form and we connect you with a teacher.

Scheduling my lesson: Lessons are scheduled directly with the instructor, based on mutual availability.

When do I complete registration?

Once your lesson time is confirmed, you will need to complete the registration and payment process before lessons can commence. You can access the registration forms here: REGISTRATION

Payment Options:

We offer monthly payment plans to accomodate your needs, as well as sibling discounts for the purchase of two or more lesson packages. Additionally, there is an annual registration fee per student for private lessons.

Recitals Opportunities:

We offer our private lessons students the opportunity to participate in recitals throughout the year. While participation in these recitals is optional, it is encouraged for students to perform.

Additional Opportunities:

All students are also encouraged to participate in Workshops, Pop up Events,  and additional activities offered by ISM throughout the school year for musical growth and participation in the ISM community.

May students sign up mid-year?

Yes. We welcome new students mid-year for the remainder of the academic year. Your tuition rate will be reflective of the start date of lessons for the remaining weeks of the academic year. 

Summer Session Dates: 

June 2nd - August 31st. 

• Confirm with your teacher regarding lesson length and their availability during the summer.
• Make-up lessons are not offered during the summer session. Only register for the number of weeks you will attend.
•  Additional summer lessons may be scheduled after the initially registered lessons are completed, subject to mutual agreement between the teacher and student.
• Payment is made up front and in full for the summer session.

Summer Tuition:

30-minute lesson: $33 per lesson

45-minute lesson: $47 per lesson

60-minute lesson: $58 per lesson
