Dr. connie golden

Our community has experienced sorrow with the sudden loss of our beloved faculty member, Dr. Connie Golden, in September 2025.

A gifted teacher of piano and organ, Dr. Golden's love, encouragement, and passion for excellence left an indelible mark on her students. She found great joy in watching them share their talents, especially as guest performers during Sunday worship services at Immanuel. Her passing leaves a deep void, yet her legacy continues in every student she inspired and every note that carries her spirit forward. We give thanks for her life, her teaching, and her love of music.

Connie (Hensley) Golden was a part of our teaching faculty at Immanuel School of Music for several years. 

Dr. Golden was an experienced professional with degrees in music education, piano, and organ. She offered three goals for all piano students at every stage of learning: Educating the whole piano (music) student; Equipping students with tools for independent learning; and, Inspiring passion for music.

Visitation: Visitation will be at the church prior to the service. 9 am - 11 am.

Service Time: 11:00 am

Location: Bullittsville Christian Church

3094 Petersburg Rd., Burlington, KY

Lunch will follow after the service.
