Villa Violin Class - Sassmanhaus Tradition


Cost: $195 per semester

Location: Villa Madonna

ISM Outreach Program


1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students have the unique opportunity to study violin with the Sassmannshaus Tradition.


Offered offsite Thursdays at Villa Madonna.


  • Level 1  (1st and 2nd grade) Thursdays - 2:30-3:20 pm
  • Level 2 (2nd and 3rd grade) Thursdays - 3:30-4:20 pm


Fall Semester 2024: 

September 3- December 14,2024 

Fall Registration opens July


Spring Semester 2025: 

January 6-May 3, 2025 

Spring Registration opens November 1



Two Fees:

1) Sassmannhaus Tradition Tuition: $195 per student/per semester ($390 for the whole year) payable to Immanuel School of Music

Refunds are not issued after the first two (2) weeks of class.

2) Instrument Rental Fee - payable to Baroque Violin Shop.  Check with BVS for monthly invoice and amount at time of rental.


Sassmannhaus Tuition Includes:

  • 13 weekly 50-minute classes per semester
  • Sassmannhaus Tradition, Book 1
  • Concert Opportunities



Baroque Violin Shop assists with the sizing and rental of instruments. The instrument rental fee is not included in the Villa Violin Tuition.

    1) Register Online



    2) Order your Instrument with Baroque Violin Shop (Pre-Order OR order in person. See BVS website for pre-order deadline).



    3) Attend Villa Violin Parent Evening with your child.

  • Performance Opportunities

    Students have the opportunity to perform at the end of each semester.


    All family and friends are welcome to attend the concert.


    Concert Details will be shared in class.

  • Practice

    Practice make progress!


    Help your child excel!!

    • Students will be given homework to practice between each class. 
    • Please read your teacher's weekly communication and homework assignments.

    We encourage families to:

    1. Help create a consistent practice routine.
    2. Have a designated area to practice.
    3. Read weekly teacher communication to know what your child should practice.
    4. Offer words of encouragment. 
    5. Contact the teacher as you or your child has a question.
